Block count command generate list of blocks within a drawing. Apart from the list of total number blocks of different types, it can also count blocks in the drawing layerwise.

The Block Count dialog box will open.
The number of blocks will be displayed in the list Block count for layers.
The same list is displayed in the Command Prompt also.
